We meet weekly at a cafe with a facilitator who is native French speaker, who challenges us with word games in French and some French ‘devoirs’! With the 1:1 or small group sessions, we are able to work on the areas of the French language that I most need assistance with. Fantastic experience: I have attended Hichem’s conversation classes for several years, originally at Hornsby and now at Milson’s Point. I also join Cecile’s Wednesday online class when possible. I really enjoy the structure and content of these classes, as well as the good humour with which they are presented. My French language skills have improved a lot. In particular, the flexible ‘pay as you go’ format is perfect for me as I’m unable and unwilling to commit to the (more expensive) school type courses offered elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I really look forward to our weekly zoom conversation group. It is small and friendly with participants from far and wide. We always cover a vast range of topics and Cecile who is in Paris in a different time zone does a wonderful job in keeping us gently on track and making sure we all have ample opportunity to speak. Usually some very interesting and contemporary vocabulary comes up. It's a great way to learn in a relaxed way.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed the lessons with my teacher Hugo. The lessons were a good mix of speaking, comprehension, grammar and conversation exercises. Hugo incorporated current events and culture into the conversation and included the use of vernacular and idiomatic language in the lessons. All in all a very good experience.

Fantastic experience: It is my pleasure to write a review of my work with Sophie. First of all, Sophie is delightful … patient, supportive and always encouraging. As a teacher, she is truly excellent, offering the right mix of spoken and written French. In the process of teaching grammar, comprehension etc, , Sophie also makes the lessons interesting, leading to some really fascinating discussions. She offers homework exercises, which I find very useful, and is always up to date with the things we have been working on in previous lessons. She is challenging, but in an extremely gentle way. I cannot recommend Sophie highly enough as a first class French tutor.

Fantastic experience: I have been doing my online classes with VoulezVouloz for a few months now and I couldn't recommend it enough especially at a time when everything has been quite inaccessible. What I really like about my lessons is that Sarah, my tutor, was able to set up a Google Drive for me where I can look through personalised notes that have been so helpful with my French practice. Sarah has also been very detailed and clear when teaching new things, and she is always happy to adjust the lessons depending on my requests (e.g. to prepare for an exam, to become better with listening and at handling conversations..). My son's grasp of French and pronunciation has improved enormously over the past 12 months - despite being in lockdown for the majority of the time. His current tutor is fun, engaging and generous with her time. Despite returning to France part way through the year she has continued to tutor my son in Melbourne online and we love her. And what can I say about Hichem - he has been so responsive and understanding but best of all are his hilarious, very witty and highly entertaining emails demonstrating the most amazing grasp of the English language.

Fantastic experience: VoulezVouloz has been great in helping me and my partner brush up on our French. We were looking to improve our conversational French and didn't want to feel like we were returning to school, completing worksheets and memorising verb tables. (But, if you want worksheets and verb tables, the tutors at VoulezVouloz can do that too, it just wasn't what we were after!). Our tutor Zoe is awesome, tailoring the lessons to our learning styles and making them really enjoyable. As a result, our confidence has hugely improved, as well as our vocab of words we'd actually use in day to day conversation. We'd highly recommend :)

Fantastic experience: I speak French relatively fluently, but during the 6-8 months I live in Australia each year, my fluency inevitably starts to decline. To try to avoid this, I decided to have some individual lessons with VoulezVouloz. I have just finished 6 weekly lessons of 1.5 hours each with Lea. She gave me preparation to do in advance, linked to my goals -- aural comprehension and oral expression. As a result of these lessons I feel that not only did we prevent the decline of my fluency, but also I improved in the two areas I had targeted. It was a great experience, and I will very likely have another 6 lessons next year before I return to France in April. We met in my local library in North Melbourne, which was great as I didn't have to drive or take public transport anywhere.

Fantastic experience: Hi all, I have been a student of the VoulezVouloz school for quite a few years and can't recommend them highly enough. All my lessons are via Skype and it works out very well. The teachers are enthusiastic, dedicated but above all, very skilled and know how to pitch the lesson to your level and provide the much needed lesson structure. Let's face it - French is a difficult language for most to learn but Hichem (director of the school) really seems to choose his teachers very well - they are genuine, personal and patient in their teaching styles. For me, its great value for money (and time) especially because previously I had been attending group classes in another school,which didn't suit my learning style and progress was slow. Personalised tuition is so much better. So, if you're reading this give Voulez VoulOZ a go!

My wonderful teacher Aurelie is awesome, nice and super patient. And if she is anything to go by of the quality of teachers then the other tutors must also be amazing. Fantastic experience: My daughter was struggling a bit with Year 12 French as she was only attending a class once a week outside of school. Fantastic experience: I'm going to France to study there for 2 months and was keen to have tutoring to ensure that I was confident with the French I had already learnt.
