Negative experience: They placed me in a class where there are no students from different cultures — only Latin students. On top of that, they assigned a Latin teacher as well. During the lesson, everyone stopped speaking English and started speaking only Spanish. There are 13 students, plus the teacher — 14 people in total — and I was just sitting there watching. It is honestly very upsetting. I paid for this education. And to make it worse, in my English for Travel and Hospitality class, this is what was shared in today’s group message. Only Latin countries are being covered. I sincerely hope that anyone considering coming to this school will think not once, but a hundred times before making a decision.

Negative experience: I don't recommend this school at all, I wasted two months. According to luck, see if you meet a good teacher! My tuition fee is $360 a week, and they charge different fees according to students of different nationalities. I suspect it's racism! I think the management is also very bad, the teacher actually allows students to speak their own language in class! Waste of money and time.

Negative experience: I went through a challenging five-month period with ILSC. They are not interested in your needs and place you in a random class. It does not matter if you waste your time and money. They know we have to attend the classes at a certain percentage to protect our visa status. Therefore, they are not prioritising your needs. Furthermore, their classes are very crowded. Some teachers are not keen to teach anything.

Negative experience: I strongly advise against letting them choose your homestay. The one they selected for me was a very poor choice, and the entire process of changing it was extremely frustrating. It takes a long time, involves unnecessary stress, and comes with high additional costs that are not fair to the student. The lack of flexibility and understanding in handling homestay issues made the experience even worse. The only reason I am giving one star is for the quality of the study program itself, which was good. Unfortunately, everything else related to accommodation and student support was very disappointing and far below expectations So if you thinking to come and study here? Don’t ever let them choose a homestay for you Imagine they but me in a homestay far from school 1 hour and 50 mins by train!

The teachers are pretty good, especially Will and Daniel — they made the learning process both effective and enjoyable. Negative experience: I was originally enrolled to study at ILSC for two months. In the beginning, I was very motivated and eager to improve, and I worked hard with the goal of passing the level-up test for the next class. During the lessons, I noticed that many of my classmates had a low understanding of grammar, and I began to wish for more classmates who would take grammar seriously and mutually support each other’s learning. Eventually, I achieved a test result that qualified me to move up to the next level. However, there was a week where the school was closed for three days due to Easter holidays. Despite only offering two days of classes that week, the school was charging the regular weekly fee. One of my teachers even suggested that if I felt it was unfair, I should consider taking a holiday for that week. On top of that, due to work commitments, I had no choice but to miss three days in the week just before Easter. As a result, I applied for a two-week holiday. Before doing so, I confirmed with my class teacher that I could still take the level-up test before my holiday started. I was assured that my test would be graded and my results considered. However, due to issues with the school’s online system, my name disappeared from the class list during my holiday period, and my result was not recorded. I was then told I had to repeat the same level for the following month. When I raised this issue in Week 2, hoping for a resolution, I was told that the next-level class was already full and I could not be moved. When applying for the holiday, I had spoken with a student advisor. She only instructed me to confirm the test date with my teacher and never mentioned that taking a holiday would void my level-up eligibility. Due to this series of actions by the school, I lost all motivation to continue studying at ILSC and informed the school of my decision to withdraw. I explained the reasons to the student advisor, but I was told to write that I was withdrawing for financial reasons instead. I then asked her about the refund process, but she simply said, “I don’t know anything about finance – the finance department will contact you.” I waited for one week, and all I received was a message saying, “You have been withdrawn from the school! Congratulations!” – with no mention of money or any refund. I followed up with an email asking about the refund. A few days later, I received a very short reply stating, “The process has been finalised. There is no refund pending.” No breakdown of the calculation, cancellation policy, or receipt was provided. I then replied again, requesting a detailed explanation of the charges and shared the full story of what had actually happened. In return, I was told that the school had clearly explained everything, including the holiday and refund policy, and therefore the school was not at fault. My concerns were dismissed without any acknowledgement of the miscommunication or system issues I experienced. I sent another detailed explanation, but this time I received no response at all. It has now been over a week, and I am still waiting for a reply. From my experience, I can say that while some teachers provided excellent lessons, the overall quality of your service is extremely poor. Your internal systems, rules, lack of communication, and poor staff training all show a serious lack of responsibility and care for students. I sincerely hope the school takes these issues more seriously in the future.

The use of ChatGPT is common in exams, and some teachers are probably doing this job just to earn money. Negative experience: I am very unhappy with ILSC, not because of the school in general that is more or less good, but with one teacher in particular, she is a Spanish teacher called Marta. She disrespects the students, treats them badly and is not competent with her work. In addition, she is a kind of director, so her position is not in danger if she does things wrong, that is why I put my review here, to alert other students, the chances that you will have to deal with Marta are high, so I recommend choosing another school where all the teachers know how to deal with all kinds of students and do not feel discriminated against or bullied because your experience in this school can be really bad. Studying at ILSC is expensive enough to have to endure this kind of treatment. They may think it's personal, but I know that many students feel as I describe in this review but for fear of saying what they think and that this could affect their visa they don't say it. I hope that ILSC at some point can take care of the students in a different way I would do better school.

Fantastic experience: Hello everyone! I have been ILSC student since the last 20th of May now and I am 100% satisfied of the school! Personally I want to have a skilled visa in Australia. However, I need to reach BAN 7 at the ILETS test before. Our teacher Sharmani and Reza are very skilled and available for us in order to be ready for this exam. Moreover Andrew introduced us the school perfectly on the first day thanks a lot teacher! If you have a projet in Australia and you feel a bit anxious, I recommend also this school because you will be meeting incredible people who will help you to make the dream come true!
