Fantastic experience: I did a summer intensive course for Chinese with Francisco and I'm currently taking the Japanese beginner course with Yuka. I had a great experience with both teachers, very friendly and compassionate. The course content is also very well organised. The admins at JIC are amazing, especially Maki. They were very patient, communicated well, and went above and beyond to accomodate my scheduling requests. Overall a great place to kick start learning Chinese and Japanese!

Fantastic experience: My son has been wanting to learn Japanese which is why I enrolled him in this school. He has 3 lessons so far and is enthusiastic to continue with the program. The online format is very engaging and allows everyone equal opportunity to learn. We are continuing with lessons and hopefully encourage him to speak the language in Japan one day!

Fantastic experience: As a beginner, I'm learning a lot from my Mandarin classes. They conduct 2 hours intensive classes for 6 weeks and provide handouts. I've learned so much from attending this school compared to just using my Duolinggo and Hello Chinese App to learn Mandarin. Highly recommend, especially for beginners seeking accelerated learning.

It was a bit shaky at first but with each passing week I am feeling better and more hopeful about my progress. Nami is awesome and very patient. Fantastic experience: Next week is my last week of Chinese Beginner A with Hazel, and it has been a great class! The pace is comfortable, but we're really covering a lot of material. I highly recommend the class and will definitely sign up for further study at JIC.

Fantastic experience: I am currently taking on-site Japanese Beginner A classes with Hiroka Sensei and Kouji Sensei. The lessons are fun and engaging, starting with basic Japanese phrases such as introductions and greetings, as well as learning to read and write hiragana. Each class includes a bit of homework, followed by a review of previous content to reinforce learning. After six weeks, I’ve begun recognizing words and phrases in anime and music lyrics, and I can read hiragana. In Japanese Beginner B classes, we will start learning katakana so I am very keen for that! I highly recommend JIC for Japanese classes!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending a Japanese class at JIC for three weeks now and am thoroughly enjoying it. The teachers, Hiroka Sensei and Haruna Sensei, are native Japanese speakers who are incredibly nice, friendly, and patient. They make a great effort to ensure I understand each lesson. The school also offers online classes for those who cannot attend in person. Additionally, the tuition fee is very affordable. I highly recommend this language school to anyone interested in learning Japanese for personal enrichment.

Fantastic experience: I recently enrolled in the Japanese Beginner A course and am really enjoying the classes. The teacher, Saho, is very good and the lessons are very structured. We are encouraged to speak only in Japanese and there is constant repetition and reviews which helps to grasp the language faster. Within the first 3 classes we were able to form basic sentences and introduce ourselves which was nice! We also end the classes with mini games to help us review what we've learnt. All in all, I'm looking forward to future classes and learning better. :)

Great way to see if the lessons are a good fit for you, and it worked for me. Being in a classroom with Jaiden has been very informative, very interesting and very fun. She makes every lesson very easy and accessible and truly cares about your education and making sure you learn something. Am set to sign up to the rest of the course.

As a complete beginner it's been a great experience so far, great learning environment, friendly class, and knowledgeable teacher. I'd definitely recommend JIC to anyone looking to pick up Mandarin.
