Fantastic experience: The class atmosphere is really positive and comfortable, which makes it easy to stay engaged and enjoy learning. The staff are all very kind, attentive, and genuinely caring—they always make sure everyone feels supported and looked after. I especially appreciate how approachable and helpful they are whenever I have questions or need guidance. On top of that, the lessons are very well-structured and meaningful, so I feel like I’m learning a lot and making real progress each time.

Negative experience: I’m currently studying at ILSC and I’m feeling quite frustrated with the lack of communication recently. Over the past few days, I have sent emails regarding changing my class schedule, but I have not received any response. I also tried to contact student services and the campus manager, but I couldn’t reach anyone. What concerns me most is that I don’t even know the proper procedure for requesting leave, as there has been no clear guidance or reply. I understand staff may be busy, but timely communication is very important for students, especially when it affects attendance and visa conditions. I hope the school can improve its response time and provide clearer support for students.

Fantastic experience: Today, I had an IELTS Skills class with Teacher Lisa Yang, I really enjoyed it! She is pretty lovely, because she gave us so many ideas which were how to got IELTS skills, especially reading skills.Before that, for example,I was always struggling how to choose F; T and NG, and then in this class, she gave us an essay, checked out the answers, told us strategies, and made some examples in order that let us understand easily! Finally, I was able to understand what was different between F and NG. So , I want to continue to learn more class from her, I am confident I will make larger progress in the coming days!

Fantastic experience: The environment is very pleasant, the teachers are very qualified and very nice, I managed to make a lot of progress with my English, but I won't lie, I find their methodology a bit slow and sometimes they treat us like children. I understand that many students are quite childish, but most want to improve their English and I think they should divide the English levels differently, by skills and not by a general assessment.

Negative experience: No recomiendo esta escuela para nada ,recibí una mala atención de las secretarias de ayuda al estudiante al querer cambiar mi horario , me sentí discriminada solo por indicarles la razón de mi cambio de horario y que emitieran su “opinión” muy aparte tampoco recibí comprensión en una situación que explique a la profesora de la mañana previo a mi cambio a la tarde. De igual manera te bajan el porcentaje de manera absurda sin decirte en qué estás fallando con previa intimidación de que podrían revocarte la visa . Indico todo esto para que si alguien tiene pensando en esta escuela mire para otra opción porque lamentable por el trato de las asesoras y los profesores aparte de la metodología aburrida y confusa , profesores con falta de dinámica e ideas de clases , y discriminación tanto de ellos como de los asesores pues te recomiendo abstenerte de inscribirte aqui , creeme que hay mejores opciones . Aparte para cualquer que no sepa , si te inscribes de mañana y te cambias jamás te harán rembolso ni descuento , e incluso te cobran por el cambio , todo esto fue mi mala experiencia mientras estudié en esta escuela , más que el estudio el trato humano importa porque uno está pagando por un servicio y el trato al cliente debe ser respetuoso siempre.

The teachers are great, the student support from the advisors is very good, and there's support from professionals from different countries in different languages. The space has open areas, study spaces, rooms for barista classes, and much more. It really makes the exchange program a better experience. I recommend it.

Negative experience: ES No recomiendo ILSC Brisbane. Durante mi embarazo (primer trimestre), informé continuamente al centro y entregué justificantes médicos. Pedí alternativas (clases online, retirada) y no se me ofreció ninguna opción razonable; me indicaron que tenía que asistir presencialmente cuando mi médico me aconsejó reposo. He sido reportada por baja asistencia a Home Affairs a pesar de tener documentación médica. Muy decepcionada por la falta de apoyo y asesoramiento. Solo miran por quedarse con el dinero que ya pagué y no ofrecen una atención personalizada al estudiante. EN I do not recommend ILSC Brisbane. During my pregnancy I repeatedly informed the school and submitted medical certificates. I requested alternatives (online, withdrawal) and none were offered, staff insisted on in-person attendance despite medical advice to rest. I have been reported to Home Affairs despite valid medical evidence. Very disappointed by the lack of support. They only care about keeping the money I already paid and provide no personalized support for students.

Negative experience: **ILSC Brisbane Language School: My Honest Review (Not Recommended)** Honestly, I absolutely **do not recommend** this language school. This is based on my direct experience, and I hope it helps others in their school selection. * **The Head Teacher's Irresponsible Attitude:** The head teacher was very rude and showed no willingness to seriously listen to or resolve student complaints. Rather, their unnecessary words and actions sometimes hurt students. * **Unstructured Classes and Lack of Skill Improvement:** The class structure was extremely disorganized. It proceeded inconsistently, leading to confusion, and frankly, after attending classes for a month, I felt absolutely no improvement in my English skills. Instead, I felt that I had only wasted my time and money. * **Forced Course Selection and Disregarded Student Opinions:** Although I was told that I could freely choose my courses, in reality, there was little choice, and the atmosphere felt like a unilateral imposition. I got the impression that students' opinions were not considered important at all. The time I spent at this academy caused me the greatest disappointment and regret during my study abroad life in Australia. Personally, I feel that I wasted time and money, and it is a moment I never wish to experience again.

Fantastic experience: Мне школа очень понравилась! Очень хорошее расположение, рядом с центральным вокзалом. Внутри здание очень красивое, школа имеет учебные классы на трех этажах. На каждом этаже есть зона отдыха с микроволновыми печами и холодильниками. Классы большие и красивые, хорошо оборудованы. Но самое главное, это учителя: они прекрасные профессионалы! У меня был уровень Advanced и мой учитель Jaydan Pitmen просто великолепен! В школе есть свои учебники и своя методика, она очень хорошая! Уроки были настолько интересные, что 4 часа пролетали незаметно! В школе есть занятия утром с 8:30, днем с 13:15 и вечером с 17:30. Утром учатся в основном азиаты, днем колумбийцы и другие латиноамериканцы, вечером не знаю, разные национальности. Возраста и уровни разные. Мне очень понравилось учиться в этой школе! Желаю школе успехов, процветая и побольше благодарных студентов!

The downtown location is super convenient, and the weekly activities helped a lot to practice English outside the classroom. Negative experience: I attended a course at this school for four weeks. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Despite taking a placement test before starting, the speaking level of the students in the group I was assigned to was significantly lower than expected. Since a large part of the lessons is based on student-to-student communication, this became a major problem. I had to change groups several times. I was also disappointed with the school’s organization. It was completely normal for most of the students in my group to arrive 30–60 minutes late for lessons, constantly disrupting the learning process. This attitude was also reflected in the students’ motivation: many of them simply sat through the lessons playing on their phones. Of course, everyone is responsible for their own motivation, but I was very disappointed by the teachers’ complete lack of recognition that they needed to adapt their teaching style to re-engage their students. My course lasted only four weeks, but 2.5 days were entirely wasted. My first day was just a presentation of a YouTube video—less than 1 hour long—explaining school rules. You also always lose the first day of every four-week session simply because “we do not have classes on the first day.” However, payment is still required for the full week. On the second day of the session, you spend half the day just talking about the school’s rules and educational process. I was also shocked by the condition of the kitchen, especially the fridges. When bringing food from home, there was no guarantee that I could even store it. The fridges often didn’t work or were covered in mold because previous students had left food inside for weeks. Additionally, many classrooms were constantly cold, and although numerous students complained, the only response was: “Sorry, we have a central system, and we cannot change it.” This might sound like a small thing, but when you constantly face issues like this, in my opinion it really says a lot about the school’s overall standards and its attitude toward its students. Unfortunately, I was hoping for an intensive and deep learning experience over 4 weeks. Instead, the education felt very slow and superficial: no homework, no motivation in class, and many topics were stretched over 4 hours when, for intensity and engagement, the same material could have easily been covered in just 1 hour. I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because, during my 20 days there, I had the chance to spend 3 days with a really good teacher. Overall, I deeply regret the wasted time and money.

Negative experience: I attended this language school for four weeks, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The main issue for me was the lack of intensity in the classes. Despite being placed in an Upper-Intermediate group, the lessons were often slow and unengaging. I had to switch classes multiple times just to find a group where the actual level of students matched the level advertised. In most cases, the language level of the group was noticeably lower. To experience more challenging lessons, I moved from a General English class to an IELTS preparation course. Sadly, the IELTS course was unstructured, lacked depth, and felt uninspiring. I find it hard to believe that someone could achieve a strong IELTS result based solely on this preparation—unless they were to study here for several years. Another issue is the lack of enforcement of school policies. The rules clearly state that students arriving late must wait outside until allowed in. However, in reality, students would walk into the classroom at any time—5, 15, even 30 minutes late—regularly disrupting the lessons. Lastly, I was shocked by the state of the kitchen facilities. On my first day, I went to store my lunch and found all three fridges in unacceptable condition—dirty, with moldy, expired, and smelly food left inside. In summary, while the school may work for some learners, my personal experience did not match the expectations set by their advertisements.

I also feel prepared to take IELTS which is one of my goals. I feel like I didn't even make a mistake in choosing ILSC.

Negative experience: I've been attending here for over two months, and the academy's system is terrible. I paid for six months of the morning classes but switched to the evening classes because of work. Now they are asking for $100 if I want to switch back to the morning classes. Even though I paid all the fees, they say there are no spots in the classes I want, so I can't take the courses I need. They just keep saying no to everything without solving any problems. The timetable shows I'm in the evening classes, but it's marked as morning classes, so my attendance is all deducted, and they don't even apologize. They blame everything on me. This place is the worst. Don't waste your money here; go to a different academy.

Of course, there were pleasant moments and unpleasant moments, but most of the time it was pretty good. If you are lucky enough to study in this school. I wish you the best of luck in being taught by Thomas, Dean, or Deirdre. They are all excellent teachers I have met here. Thomas always teaches us with the greatest enthusiasm. You will never be bored in his class. Dean in this regard too. Their classes are often interspersed with small games. And they will take the trouble to answer your questions that you don't understand. Deirdre is the most passionate teacher I have ever met, and she often does things she doesn't have to do to help us learn. Positive experience: I love the academic level and the English instruction the school offers. They have very good teachers. Compared to other people I know who study elsewhere, I think this school has a higher level than those. One negative aspect is the dismissal time. For those of us who have to use transportation, it's very late, and the frequency of buses and trains is very low. The only thing I can say is very bad and needs attention is the cleanliness. Some classrooms are a bit dirty, but the bathrooms are always very dirty regardless of the time. There's water overflowing in the sinks, the bathrooms smell bad, there's a lack of paper, or the trash cans are overflowing with garbage. Just for this reason, I am rating the school one star lower. In terms of academic objectives, it is good.

Fantastic experience: My time at ILSC was truly memorable. In addition to studying Cambridge Close, I also took part in the General English course, which met all my expectations. The quality of teaching in both programs was exceptional, with special praise for the dedication and talent of teachers Renee and Chris. Their dynamic approach made each class stimulating and enriching. Furthermore, ILSC's multicultural environment added extra value to my experience, allowing me to improve my language skills while interacting with people from around the world. I highly recommend ILSC to anyone seeking quality education in a welcoming and stimulating environment. Thay have skill coffee class :)

Fantastic experience: I studied on line and I can say that it was a good experience. The teacher was great and the topics really helped me to improve mi English skills.

Positive experience: They offer different approaches of English, so you can choose which ever you want according to your interests. It was a good experience.

Fantastic experience: ILSC is a good school for me. I meet a lot of friends from different countries and they are friendly. Teachers are very welcoming and helpful. There are many interesting activities from school for example BBQ, traveling around Brisbane, table tennis competition, academic support classes for students who need help about English grammar etc.

Negative experience: I'm so disappointed when I just know that the college will 100% online teaching for diploma or any certificate. What are the benefits students get when have to online learning 100%? I won't get any participation with new friends in a class or brainstorming in the class or socialising that I can do in a class or after class like another college. I have tried so hard to go to Australia for this study that is so important for students, but I am also disappointed when I know this.

Fantastic experience: I have been at ILSC for 7 months and I loved the experience. Particularly, I enjoyed Virginia’s classes (English Communication and Yoga) because she makes us feel comfortable and understands our situation and life as international students. I also loved the classes with teacher Taryn, she is really professional and I am learning a lot. Alex is great as well, he makes the classes really dynamic and gives us the opportunity to interact with other classmates. ILSC also have Student Advisor services, offering support in your own language and helping us with our life in Australia. I really recommend this school!

Negative experience: Save yourself, do not recommended this college. This college is absolutely disgusting and dishonourable. My partner is an international student whom was trying to change courses, which happened to be at another college. They reputedly refused for a year and then after 12months he tried again, they again refused only to suddenly from one day to another cancel his CoE without a moments notice no phone calls, no emails of warning. With those familiar with the system it means they only have 28 days to figure out what to do as it was brought on suddenly. Schools also close during December so what options does that leave for students. This college like many others for international students only cares about the money they receive and nothing more. I even witnessed the course content and it was despicable. It consisted of units on "how to write an email" and other very basic information you would do better googling. Lastly, after every email they like to finish with "or else we'll report you to the government". Their threatening and blackmail techniques are dishonourable and they should be ashamed of themselves for playing with people's emotions and lives.

Positive experience: La escuela fue generalmente buena, hay muchos docentes muy bien preparados, amables y pacientes, pero te toparas con otros que no tienen mucha vocación. En los horarios de la mañana hay muchas más actividades interesantes que en la noche.
